Location
Since 1979, the village Schaidt is part of the town Wörth am Rhein. Schaidt has approx. 2,000 inhabitants and is located in Rhineland-Palatinate in the administrative district
Germersheim, at the northern edge of the Bienwald.
Since 2004, Mr. Kurt Geörger is mayor.
The location of the geothermal power plant will be at the southern border of Schaidt in a commercial area.
